Duane Purvis Burger


  • salt
  • 1/3 pound hamburger patties
  • peanut butter creamy
  • lettuce
  • mayonnaise
  • tomato sliced
  • pickles
  • cheese slices
  • hamburger buns


  1. Heat cast iron skillet, or grill. Generously salt the pan (or the patties, if using grill).

  2. Add burgers and cook three minutes per side, or until your preferred doneness.

  3. Slather a generous amount of peanut butter on the bottom of the hamburger bun.

  4. Add additional condiments as desired:  cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, mayo, pickles.
