Farmer's Daughter
- 8 fresh strawberries (2 whole, 6 cored and sliced)
- 6 basil leaves
- splash simple syrup (chilled)
- 4 ounces premium vodka
- ice

Muddle strawberries (reserving two whole strawberries for garnish), simple syrup and basil. Add ice and vodka and shake vigorously.

Pour cocktail over ice. Garnish with a strawberry.
