Jameson Wings

Make sure to marinate these wings for several hours for the flavors to come through, especially the whiskey!

Jameson Wings

  • 4 tablespoons onion (diced)
  • 4 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons ginger (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup Irish whiskey
  • 4-5 pounds chicken wings
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Mix onion, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, pepper, salt, soy sauce, olive oil, whiskey in a zip-top bag.  Add chicken and marinate for 8-24 hours.

  3. Place a cooling rack on a baking sheet and spray both with non-stick spray.  Remove chicken from marinade and place on rack.  Discard marinade.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes, then turn chicken to cook evenly.  Bake for 20-25 minutes longer, until chicken is cooked through.
