Zip’s bacon cheeseburger is a classic!

Zip’s Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 12 slices bacon cooked
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 6 buns
  • lettuce
  • condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, pickles

Instructions

  1. Shape ground beef into 6 patties (unless you want thinner burgers and more layers).
  2. Cook burgers on stovetop or grill to desired doneness. Salt and pepper as they cook.
  3. Slather mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then add burger, cheese, bacon, lettuce, and desired condiments.

Recipe Notes

Note: Zip’s uses thinner patties and doubles-up on them, more beef, more cheese, more bacon.  We went with the one and done version.
