Coffee Old Fashioned
- 4 shots espresso (about 4 ounces, room temperature)
- 2 ounces bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 2 lemon curls

In an ice-filled shaker, combine espresso, bourbon, simple syrup, and bitters. Stir with a bar spoon for 30 seconds. Fill two rocks glasses with ice, and strain cocktail into the glasses. Garnish with lemon peel.
