Jersey Devil

The legend of the Jersey Devil tells us the cursed 13th child of a Pine Barrens, NJ, couple transformed into a winged creature with a blood curdling scream and a taste for local residents–which takes the idea of “eating the enemy” just a little too far.  Soothe your fears with the apple and cranberry flavors in this refreshing autumn cocktail!

Jersey Devil

  • 4 ounces cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces apple cider
  • 1 ounce apple brandy or liqueur
  • 1 apple (sliced)
  1. Add cranberry juice, apple cider and apple brandy/liqueur to glass with ice. Stir. Garnish with slices of apple.

If the Jersey Devil legend sounds like an X-Files episode, it was! (Season 1, episode 5)
